Conventions

This interoperability specification adopts the following conventions:

  • Profiles: list the IHE profiles that map to the functions supported by current healthcare information systems.
  • Actors: are information systems or components of information systems that communicate through transactions.
  • Transactions: are interactions between actors that use standards-based messages to communicate required information.
  • Message Structures: provide a precise definition of the message structure and semantic expectations.
  • Data Models: define how complex and primitive data types are connected, processed, or stored.

Service Purpose

Mobile Care Services Discovery (mCSD) supports RESTful queries across related care services resources.

It is intended for mobile-oriented and web-based interoperability scenarios where directory information must be discoverable through FHIR search interactions.

Implementation Notes

The implemented MHFL request and response examples for mCSD are documented in the main MHFL API Guide.
